Mr. Nærbø is the founder of Bulk Infrastructure, a leading provider of sustainable digital infrastructure in the Nordics. His company is an industrial investor, developer and operator of industrial real estate, data centers and dark fiber networks. Bulk has built several datacenters in the Nordics, the hyperscale data park, N01 Campus, which is the world’s largest data center campus fueled with renewable energy (hydroelectricity), Oslo Internet Exchange and DK01, the new datacenter in Esbjerg, Denmark.

By starting Bulk Infrastructure in 2006 he quickly became one of the major real estate developers in Norway. In 2011 he identified the close relationship between the logistic business area and the datacenter sector, which lead to major investment in digital infrastructure as intercontinental subsea fiber network and local fiber networks.

Through this initiative Bulk is now a leading provider of sustainable digital infrastructure in the Nordics. The company currently employs 55 employees and has an equity of 1.1 billion NOK. In 2019 Mr Nærbø received the prestigious price, Business Leader of the Year at DCD Awards, the price given to the person who in the view of the judges has done the most over the past 12 months to build the profile of the data center industry to key stakeholder groups whether they be investors, shareholders, financiers, owners, operators, the media and/or government.
