Hans Royal helps lead the Cleantech Group at Schneider Electric, guiding the largest global institutions and corporations through their transition to renewable energy. Hans has extensive experience working with organizations to successfully navigate the renewable energy market achieve environmental and sustainability goals. Hans is a recognized thought leader and expert in large-scale renewable energy structures for corporates such as Power Purchase Agreements and is a frequent speaker at industry events across the country. With a background in power marketing, origination, project development, and renewable energy M&A, Hans has held various leadership positions in the renewable energy industry, most recently at Akuo Energy USA where he was responsible for power sales across the company’s North American renewable energy portfolio. Hans earned a double-major from Millikin University with a BS in Business and a BA in Music, and a BBA in International Business from Ecole supérieure de Gestion in Paris, France.
