Transcepta LLC, a leading innovator of hosted electronic invoicing solutions, has announced it has opened a new data center in Phoenix, Arizona. The new data center expands Transcepta's capabilities to handle more transactions, provide higher throughput and enhanced reliability. At a time of rapid growth for its Internet-based Electronic Invoicing Community, Transcepta moved its main processing center to the new Arizona facility to meet the demands of its customers. The Transcepta Electronic Invoicing Community brings trading partners together where buyers and vendors can process invoices free from the everyday constraints of paper and rigid computing systems.
"Our Community has grown to include thousands of trading partners, said Transcepta's director of product management, Shan Haq. "As our model for electronic invoicing becomes more and more popular, we expect buyers and vendors to continue joining our online community at a record pace. In order to ensure the quickest and most efficient service for our customers, we are preparing for more growth by expanding our data center to support a very large subscriber base.
Now that the Arizona facility is up and running, the original data center, located in Aliso Viejo, California, will serve as a backup data site. Transcepta's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model allows for these types of improvements and feature enhancements without disturbing the customer. Therefore, converting to the new data center was completely transparent to Transcepta customers.
