euNetworks signed with Equinix Germany to delivery instant bandwidth between the colo giant’s four Frankfurt data centers in a multi-year deal.

The managed bandwidth solution will be bundled with Equinix’s data center services. euNetworks is pre-provisioning capacity with its dense wave division multiplexing metro network (DWDM).

This means enterprise customers have instant access to data center to data center connections, with bandwidth options from 1Gbps, 8Gbps fibre channel, up to 100Gbps.

“As a global data center operator, we are focused on helping companies accelerate performance by connecting them to their customers and partners inside the world’s most networked data centers,” said Donald Badoux, General Manager of Equinix Germany.

“Today our Frankfurt data centers are important hubs for more than 900 companies and are also among the world’s most carrier dense facilities. The bandwidth connections between our four locations in the city are ever more important for our customer’s experience and we need our supporting network for this to be high in quality, performance and scale. We have been working with euNetworks for the last two years in Frankfurt and their networking performance, capability, technical expertise and professionalism is excellent. The instant bandwidth solution this partnership delivers strengthens the experience for our whole ecosystem.”

“Our metropolitan networks and our technical expertise of delivering scalable data centre connections uniquely positions euNetworks to deliver this kind of bandwidth solution with ease,” said Uwe Nickl, Chief Sales Officer of euNetworks. “We are excited to be working with Equinix and their customers and look forward to a long and growing relationship, supporting their ecosystem with instant bandwidth today and scalable bandwidth for tomorrow.”
