American engine specialist Cummins is set to announce a new line of data center power generator sets on 5 November.

Specifications of the new equipment will be revealed in a series of global virtual events held on 5 and 6 November, which will focus on different geographies.

Cummins is a Fortune 500 corporation which has been manufacturing diesel and natural gas-powered engines since 1919. Its products can be found in everything from ships and military vehicles to Dodge Ram pickups.

The new high-horsepower generator sets from Cummins Power Generation subsidiary (formerly Onan) promise higher performance and improved reliability for the data center.

More details about the new equipment will be announced during three separate webcasts, which will feature presentations by Cummins president and COO Rich Freeland and other senior executives, followed by a live Q&A with technical experts.

The show will include interactive models of the new kit, as well as detailed technical specifications and application information.

The webcasts are scheduled for:

  • November 5 at 11am CT;
  • November 6 at 9am GMT;
