UK based colo Virtus extended its Intelligent Data center portfolio with its V Range branded services the V-Rack, V-Pod and V-Suite with Flex, Enterprise and On Demand options available.

Virtus is targetting the market for pay per use data center services saying it can meet 100% uptime for production, matching data center costs to  changing requirements and firms wishing to test new markets without long term commitment.

The company said the V products can be scaled up or scaled down at Rack, Pod or even Suite level offering a ‘pay as you use’ or ‘pay as you grow’ models with contracts varying from a single day to a decade.

Virtus Data Centres’ CEO Neil Cresswell said the company is transforming the data center landscape and it sees itself as an IT services company that helps its customers run and grow their business with new and reliable technology solutions. “We offer the flexibility to handle different application workloads that drive different system requirements with different technical and commercial data centre solutions in the same data centre or data centre portfolio,” said Cresswell.
