James McHugh Construction has been chosen to build a data center in Downtown Chicago after the City Government changed its plans for the site two years ago.

McHugh has now moved the planned development 100 ft south of its original location.

The facility will consist of 350,000 sq ft over six and a half floors – the other half floor will consist of mechanical infrastructure. The facility will have 40MW of power coming from three feeders.

McHugh said they hope to break ground on the facility in November.
