    Mission critical engineering and Data Centres are engrained in the DNA of everything Colin has been involved in throughout his career. From starting off as a design technician with British Nuclear Fuels to his current role as Global Engineering Director for Deerns mission critical practice. Colin’s experience has been a mix of Consultancy roles and Client-side roles; working for some of the most respected firms in their fields and across a wide range of geographical locations. From highly secure financial projects in EMEA, APAC and USA; defence projects in New Zealand, through to current Hyper-scale projects for the three largest cloud providers in Europe, India, USA, APAC, and ANZ, and the Colo firms servicing these firms. He has been involved in the evolution of the industry over the past 20 years and feels with this range of experience and track record he fully understands what’s needed to provide leading data centre design products on a global scale.

    Dawn is an accomplished engineer and operator who was honoured with a Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering in 2020. Prior to joining Pure her career spanned several engineering sectors and industries including UK Change Director for National Grid across both the gas and electricity transmission businesses; Group Engineering Director for Merlin Entertainments with responsibility for engineering delivery, standards, practices and processes across the worldwide portfolio of more than 130 theme parks, resorts and attractions; Head of Engineering at Gatwick Airport covering the infrastructure and technical services at the airport; and over 20 years as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force where she held various positions including Head of Engineering at RAF Waddington looking after the Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance aircraft fleets and Deputy Chief Engineer for the Air Transport and Air to Air Refuelling aircraft fleets.

    She has a track record of developing women in her organisation as well as working to bring more women and girls into engineering and has been the President of the Women’s Engineering Society since 2018.

    Dawn now leads the operational arm of Pure Data Centres Group ensuring the delivery of resilient 24/7 operations globally.

She has worked on a significant number of global Data Centre projects for the market’s largest colocation provider and global cloud computing companies. She has successfully delivered on a range of mechanical engineering design stages for these clients. This has included feasibility studies and coordination of global reference designs for the prefabrication and Hyperscale market respectively. Sarah also has undertaken various Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) studies for internal whitespace operational and efficiency. Recently Sarah was awarded the DCD Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year 2019.

    Henry pioneered the modular data center concept by founding from scratch in 1999 AST MODULAR, which grew globally establishing manufacturing plants in Barcelona, Shanghai and Miami. AST became a market leader, signing clients such as IBM, HPE, Chevron, Intel, Airbus, etc. AST was successfully sold to Schneider Electric in 2014.

    Previously, in 1993 Henry founded a JV with EFI Electronics Inc. and developed the international business for the group in over 50 countries, founding subsidiaries in EMEA, Asia Pacific and LATAM. Henry sold his company successfully back to EFI Electronics in 1997.

    Henry is a Business Administration and MBA graduate by ESADE Business School, trained Risk Engineer by Stanford University and counts with wide knowledge in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering and Construction.
