As we approach the 5G event horizon, many service providers are trying to work out where there position is in the infrastructure delivery chain and how new super high-bandwidth applications will alter their capacity deployment calculations. We ask senior executives from all the major stakeholders representative of telecommunications, cloud and colocation whether the applications of the future can survive rerouting through central offices and whether mini, modular computing locations can improve roundtrip latency enough to warrant the decentralization of computer processing.
