What does a 100kW rack density mean for data center power architecture?

Definitions of what constitutes ‘high density’ in the data center have increased from 7kW to 10kW and beyond as HPC applications for ML, AI, blockchain and crypto mining drive demand. Whether disaggregated or not, everything is different with higher densities, and without understanding and optimization of power architectures, inefficiencies can be amplified.

From the chip to the rack level, this panel will explore the multi-density, multi-architecture configurations that are emerging and provide opinions on whether design specifications, including hi voltage DC power, can and will support these environments.
