Will gas generation power the 2030 data center?
All mission-critical infrastructure is reliant upon the security of power supplies. That security has traditionally been achieved by a combination of power grids and on-site diesel generators, although that combination, however, is becoming increasingly problematic, especially for large facilities.
The gas-fired approach to power generation brings a solution to those challenges as combined with small-scale gas storage technologies, they allow a combination of emergency and primary power sources, while keeping the environmental footprint of a data centre low.
This presentation will show how recent progress in gas power generation technology can be used to resolve challenges of the modern large-scale data center.
