Panel debate: Preparing for decarbonization - Can microgrids 'cross the chasm'?

The age of decarbonization is upon us. Whether you are a hyperscaler, city mayor or a utility provider, the race is on to create ‘the grid of the future’. Microgrids are collection of localized electrical sources that can operate independently of the utility grid. The typical electrical sources include photovoltaics, battery storage, co-generation plants, wind generation and fuel cells.

Our panellists will showcase whether or not this is the year microgrids’ go mainstream and the advantages they provide in helping owner-operators gain resilience, reduce risk, optimize energy costs, and increase sustainability.
