UK-based streaming specialists Sharpstream are using UK-based colocation and connectivity solutions provider Connexions for London (C4L) to provide bullet-proof streaming services – used by radio and TV broadcasters and live events with a global reach.

Sharpstream will provide streaming services to broadcast the Ministry of Sound’s Live from the Club weekends and the Premier League podcasts.

C4L delivers Sharpstream an IP transit network across three core sites on its network from its Bournemouth data center and two London sites (the solution also combines with a number of colo sites provided by C4L) allowing Sharpstream to provide a seamless service.

Last month C4L launched a Point of Presence (PoP) at the London Data Exchange (LDeX).

C4L has more than 100 PoPs across the UK and 300 globally.

At the end of last year C4L selected bandwidth infrastructure provider Zayo to deploy a network of fiber links, diversely interconnecting 27 of C4L’s data centers between London Docklands and Slough.
