Korea's Ministry of Knowledge Economy and the Korean Trade-investment Promotion Agency KOTRA will select a delegation soon which will assess Africa's readiness for e-government, which includes looking at data center solutions.

According to Korean television station Arirang, the team will embark on a market survey, looking first at software systems which will bring together vendors and government officials from Kenya and Tanzania this week to look at different e-models.

Solutions will likely focus on integrated data center offerings, as well as e-trading, e-office systems and authentication.

The ministry has pledged to help Africa by sharing its technological knowledge, while KOTRA will work to promote Korea-based technologies.
