New speakers, including the President’s deputy chief information officer (DCIO), have joined the line-up of speakers for Enterprise USA, Datacenter Dynamics’ New York event on March 17-18, 2015.

The White House deputy CIO and IBM’s leader on data center efficiency are new speakers added to the New York event, which is one of three major US conferences run by DCD in a revamped program for 2015. The two days will include 60 speakers in 100 sessions, with major spotlights on risk and security, IT and networks, critical environment, design and strategy and app to cloud.

Data center leaders
Dr Alissa Johnson is deputy chief information officer at the White House, where she leads IT projects for the Executive Office of the President (EOP). She’s previously worked on public sector IT at Catapult and Lockheed Martin, and is a mathematician with cryptology skills.

Dr Roger Schmidt, IBM Fellow for data center efficiency at IBM, has spent thirty years on thermal design for large scale computers. He has more than 100 patents, and is a past chair of the ASHRAE committee responsible for the TC9.9 guidelines which are crucial to data center designs.

Early Bird registrations are about to finish as we go to press, but there are still places available for one of the most important and informative events of the data center calendar.

This year’s DCD Converged events in the US focus on three vertical classes of data center, and take place in three different locations.

The enterprise-focused event in New York in March will be followed by an event for the internet data center community of end-users and operators. On July 30-31, the San Francisco Marriott Marquis will host a two-day conference tracking the retail, wholesale and hyper scale continuum.

Finally, services will be the theme for DCD’s service provider event, on October 27–28, 2015, at the Chicago Hilton. These two days will examine how to provision next-generation services, from cloud to anything-as-a-service.
