CoreLink Data Centers added to its Link Net Services branded connectivity portfolio with a managed network option between its Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Seattle facilities.
Link Net Services range from basic layer 1 physical interconnection services to more complex layer 3 network connectivity under a 100 percent Uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA).
"Our various Link Net Services provide site-to-site virtual transport connectivity among our five data centers, delivering exceptional business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities," said Charles Picasso, CoreLink Chairman and CEO. "In addition to CoreLink's traditional managed data center hosting solutions, clients can now choose the specific connectivity options."
Services under the Link Net umbrella include IP Bandwidth, an SLA-based multi-tier platform that aggregates multiple ISP access and IP Addressing. Corelink opened the
Chicago HQ and data center in August last year.

Telx signed a deal with Level3 for the latter to expand network services into Telx's 100 Delawanna Ave. data center in Clifton, New Jersey.
The expansion services high bandwidth IP voice, data and video and increases fiber capacity while extending routes to other New Jersey and New York metro data centers and financial exchanges.
100 Delawanna Ave. is 59,000 sq ft of colocation space in Clifton, New Jersey, 11 miles outside of New York City.
Last year Telx and Interxion signed a strategic alliance.
