DCD>Turkey is returning to Istanbul at the Wyndham Grand Levent in Istanbul, hosting a series of keynotes and big discussions with industry chiefs from NGN, Equinix and Turkcell amongst many others, to discuss how regional IT executives are moving towards a hybrid IT strategy as a bid to accelerate their digital transformation.

“In the era of digital transformation, companies need to prepare for the data tsunami heading their way” says George Rockett, CEO & Co-Founder at DCD Group.

“Whether companies pursue a pure colocation or hybrid IT strategy, the trend in Turkey is clearly toward third-party services provision, as businesses seek to scale-out their infrastructure in a cost-effective way.”

The event is set to explore how organisations can utilise a hybrid model approach, and will be joined by the largest organisations and renowned cloud and colocation providers such as Equinix, Turkcell and NGN - who will unveil NGN’s state of the art Star of Bosphorous facility at the event.

“Organizations today need a robust data center strategy which bridges the gap between on-premises infrastructure and off-premise cloud services,” says Hakan Inceoglu, CTO at ING Bank, who will also be joining a panel on hybrid IT which is set to address the key challenges of legacy data centers and the migration to hybrid IT infrastructures.

Edge and hybrid IT on the rise

The global trend in deploying edge data centers to meet the needs of IoT is also picking up interest on the Turkish market.

“Placing content at the edge and closer to the end user will help provide a more personalised service through more resilient networks and less stress on latency and secured communication”, adds Inceoglu.

“In today’s workload lifecycle management world, knowing how you will manage workloads into the future for the greatest cost-benefit, reliability, efficiency, security, and resiliency becomes the most important consideration,” says DCD’s CEO & Co-Founder George Rockett.

“We are excited to tracks these trends and facilitate the big debates around these complex issues at the event this December”, adds Rockett.

The event will be joined by IT executives from Aktif Bank, Is Bank, Ebay, MasterCard, Bosch, MNG Kargo, Dropbox, AA, Tadim and many more.
