In order to better acknowledge key industry leaders and to recognize significant contributions to industry innovation and efficiency, the DCD APAC Awards team has made some changes to its annual awards. Instead of relying solely on a system based on a panel of expert judges, DCD will be calling for industry votes in the process of choosing Award winners in six all-new ‘Open’ categories. Industry voting will be conducted through a user-friendly online platform.

APAC AWARDS

This re-vamped system serves as a great way for industry voters to get to know more up-and-coming companies and gives companies the opportunities to choose the categories that they wish to be nominated for.

The Voted Categories

Each Voted Category will award the Top 3 companies. The Categories are:

  • APAC Colocation Providers of the Year
  • APAC Cloud Providers of the Year
  • APAC Data Center Consultancies of the Year
  • APAC ICT Consultancies of the Year
  • APAC Managed Service Providers of the Year
  • APAC System Integrators of the Year

The Panel Judged Categories

Categories to be awarded on the basis of a panel of expert judges include:

  • Excellence in Data Center Operations
  • Design Innovation in the Critical Environment
  • Big Ideas and Future Thinking
  • Innovation in Improving Data Center Energy Efficiency
  • Asia Pacific Digital Transformation Project of the Year
  • Asia Pacific Cloud Journey of the Year

How companies can take part

All categories will be open for nomination from May 1 to August 22. A nomination fee of USD 1000 will be charged for each Voted Category nomination. There is no nomination fee for panel judged categories.

Award winners will be celebrated at the Annual DCD Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner on November 10 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center, Hong Kong. Visit the new Datacenter Week Awards Website here.
