Construction engineering company Constructel Visabeira has announced the acquisition of US-based Verità Telecommunications Corporation (Verità)

It's Constructel's tenth acquisition since 2021 across its core markets of France, the UK, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, and the US.

The company, which provides telecom and energy engineering services, is a subsidiary of Grupo Visabeira and is backed by Goldman Sachs Alternatives.

Michigan-based Verità specializes in providing wireline and wireless services across the central US region, with a revenue of more than $100 million. The company has around 500 employees.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, though Constructel noted that the acquisition will double its revenues in the US to more than $250 million.

Verità founder and CEO Michael A. Falsetti will continue to lead the company, confirmed Constructel.

"This strategic partnership will allow us to accelerate our growth, not only by providing new opportunities to better serve our existing customers while facilitating new relationships, but also by fostering the digital and management transformation that was already taking shape," said Falsetti.

Nuno Marques, CEO of Constructel Visabeira, added: “As we execute our expansion strategy in the US, where we hold strong long-term ambitions, this investment will play a pivotal role.

Last year, Constructel snapped up Opération plus Maintenance (O+M), a company that designs and maintains telecommunications networks.

Other recent acquisitions include German firm Tavan, Elektro-Würkner GmbH, and Irish company Obelisk.

The transaction is expected to close during the second quarter of this year.
