European temperature control specialist Climaveneta has launched a new range of chilled water air conditioners for data center cooling.

The Accurate 2.0 series builds on the success of its predecessor i-Accurate, but adds improvements in both hardware design and software.

The new units cover a range from 6 to 235 kW, with a choice of direct expansion and free-cooling versions. They are available for both 50 and 60 Hz markets immediately.

Winter is coming
In its latest HPAC range, Climaveneta has enlarged the surface area of the heat exchangers and tweaked the design to work with very high exchange fluid temperatures.

It has also added EC fans made from ultralight polymer that promote a more precise airflow management and reduce power absorption by around 25 percent, when compared to traditional fans.

The company says the new design enhances reliability and can improve the efficiency of the data center, while still fitting into the same footprint as i-Accurate.

At the heart of every Accurate 2.0 is the new Evolution+ controller that can manage up to 10 LAN-connected HPAC units. It offers dynamic heat load (active redundancy) management, and can accurately measure temperature of the data center thanks to Adaptive Set Point (ADS) algorithm.

The range offers two ‘expanded’ versions of the air conditioners which can be separated into modules – the heat exchangers located on the floor and the fan section, to sit under the floor. This flexibility makes Accurate 2.0 suitable for free cooling applications. Climavera claims this approach can reduce energy consumption by as much as 40 percent.

Accurate 2.0 is available immediately with two different cooling modes, and in either single or double circuit version.
