Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) inventor and visual computing technology company NVIDIA has renewed its data center partnership with NTT Communications.

NVIDIA is using ICT solutions at NTT Com’s Hong Kong facilities as its data hub across APAC.

It has also selected NTT Com’s Arcstar Global Leased Line Service to extend its business connectivity throughout APAC.

NTT Com’s extended service provides NVIDIA with high speed point-to-point Ethernet leased line with up to 10Gbs capability, delivered over an automatic re-routable cable network.

Under the Nexcenter data center brand, NTT Com’s in Hong Kong provides NVIDIA with dedicated facility equipped with high-power and cooling capabilities, as well as fully-redundant infrastructure that is capable to minimize a possible outage.

NTT Com’s said this provides NVIDIA with a high level of uptime to support its IT equipment - ensuring business operations are available across the Asia Pacific region.

NVIDIA will leverage NTT Communications’ Global Leased Line to help boost its business communications, enabling reliable service when connecting to its offices in other regions.

The secure private network is also backed by Asia Submarine-cable Express (ASE) and PC-1 for an ultra-low latency path to the rest of the world.

NVIDIA APAC IT infrastructure manager Tony Chang said business continuity is critical for the company.

“The proven quality of NTT Communications’ ICT services, together with its total data centre solution for our mission critical application and flexible service offerings have been the key reasons for our selection,” Chang said.
