MTN said its cloud-based products and services are already offering heightened convenience to customers and helping businesses across other MTN markets to reduce operating and infrastructure expenses.

MTN Cloud Services are available in Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Cameroon, Guinea Conakry, Cote d’Ivoire, South Africa and Swaziland.

MTN’s business general manager Norman Munyampundu said as the first telecoms operator to offer Cloud Services to businesses in Rwanda, the company will be providing access to ICT services to businesses while helping them minimize their infrastructure costs.

“Instead of having separate systems for each section in a company, MTN Cloud Services enable these companies to share a common pool of resources and operate more efficiently,” Munyampundu said.

"MTN’s new vision is to lead in the delivery of bold new digital services and the launch of Cloud Services demonstrates our commitment in realising this vision”.
