Panel manufacturer partners with data center consultancy to improve server room security
British data center design and construction firm Infiniti has chosen Securiclad as a supplier of modular panel systems.
Witney, Oxfordshire-based Infiniti has decided to order panel systems from Securiclad because of the high levels of certification compliance. These panels are resistant to damage from a variety of power tools - for example drills or circular saws - and can be used to protect data center areas which contain servers or other sensitive equipment.
Securiclad’s panels can be used in brand new buildings or older facilities undergoing re-builds. They have been approved for government use by the UK’s Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI).

Mike McColl, managing director of Securiclad, said: “Infiniti has an established track record in the construction of server rooms, data centers and other technical environments, and we’re delighted that the company has chosen to offer Securiclad to its clients in cases where physical security is of prime importance.
“We’re looking forward to working with the company and helping to safeguard hardware and sensitive data from sabotage, burglary or terrorist attack.”
Pete Sands, managing director of Infiniti, added: “The UK Government’s Ministry of Defence data centre needed to conform to the very latest CPNI standards.
