This week on White Space, we receive news that the €132 million Interxion data center in Paris - hated by its neighbors - will not be closing after all. The company also announced four further facilities in Europe.

Microsoft has become a certified distributor of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, while IBM has launched a cloud brokerage service, where customers can compare and rate different public cloud services.

There are rumors that CenturyLink, which has been growing the number of facilities under management, could be looking to sell its entire data center business - we discuss whether this is a wider trend, with telecommunications providers divesting their brick-and-mortar facilities.

And finally, HP splits into HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. We’re not impressed with the new logo.
