NTT Communications is going to roll out Toshiba’s data center and cloud computing services internationally on NTT Com’s Enterprise Cloud.
The services will be deployed across North America and Asia from April and then throughout Europe thereafter.
Toshiba said it will use Enterprise Cloud to provide global-scale data center and cloud computing services that enable enterprise customers to expand and manage their operation within a common cloud network environment which is accessible worldwide.
It said it has begun supplying NTT Com with high-quality, high-performance storage systems that are now used in selected parts of the Enterprise Cloud environment.
Enterprise Cloud offers cloud computing resources, high-security VPN connections and is accessible via NTT Com’s global network.
The network reaches 196 countries and regions and offers over 150 data centers globally.
NTT said it is a high-quality Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) that connects directly to the network services of communications which enables customers to freely control server infrastructure in eight countries and ten locations from customer portals.
In future, the companies said they will further utilize each other’s advanced technologies and services to drive initiatives aimed at strengthening their respective global cloud business.
