Tony Greenberg from RampRate says you shouldn’t expect cost savings from hyperscale infrastructure
Tony Greenberg is the CEO of RampRate – an American IT sourcing advisory. For the past 15 years, he has been helping some of the largest Internet companies in the world choose their infrastructure based on complex metrics like cost of compute per workload.
In this interview, Greenberg outlines some of the challenges facing web-scale companies, and explains what he means by ‘hyper-sizing’.
