Marco van den Akker from ComputeNext talks about a tailor-made cloud experience at the world’s largest IT event

Washington-based ComputeNext runs a cloud service brokerage, helping customers find a cloud provider that’s a perfect fit for their business. It also offers the tools required to build their own cloud marketplace.

In the video above, ComputeNext’s business developer and cloud evangelist Marco van den Akker explains the reasons behind the ‘wearable cloud’ he was showing off at CeBIT. He approaches cloud as a utility, and believes data centers are the “gas stations of the Internet”.

Filmed at DCD Converged conference at CeBIT, Hannover.
