UK managed services provider Attenda Limited has partnered with Datum Datacenters to provide its services on infrastructure colocated at Datum's data center in Farnborough, UK.

The new datacentre provides an important extension to Attenda’s network of data centers, the company said, with point-to-point connection to the other data centers and multiple connectivity options.

Datum Datacentres, launched in January 2013, emphasizes energy efficiency of its facility, which uses a hybrid free air cooling solution.

As Dominic Phillips, Managing Director, Datum, said, “We look forward to becoming an integral part of Attenda’s extended portfolio of services, addressing the needs of the enterprise mid-market.”

The new colocation services form part of the Attenda foundation services offering. The company says they are well suited for active-active site replication, disaster recovery, in-house infrastructure replacement or external data center provider competitive contract renewals.
