Hosting company INetU announced a new data center location on the US west coast. Its new Seattle, Washington, data center is the company’s first in the region.

INetU will start offering its entire portfolio of services, which includes cloud and security offerings, in April. The addition of the Seattle data center also enhances the company's ability to provide diverse disaster-recovery options.

Enterprise clients are increasingly adopting business-continuity solutions that include disaster recovery as part of their total services, the company said.

"Our customers have always driven our expansion strategy, and we are responding to their requirements for more location diversity by providing our services in Seattle," Brad Ratushny , director of infrastructure at INetU, said. "Seattle also offers an attractive blend of technology, connectivity and economics that really complements our products and services."

With the addition of Seattle, INetU will have 10 data centers. Its other locations are in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Ashburn, Virginia, and Amsterdam.
